Edward & Julie Schmidt of Springville, IA announce the engagement of their daugher, Jessie Schmidt, to Duston Diesing, son of Virgil & Linda Diesing of Marion, IA.

Jessie graduated from Mount Mercy College and works as the Public Relations Coordinator for Spanda, Inc. Duston graduated from Kirkwood Community College and is a Sales Associate for Kay Jewelers.

An October 29th wedding is planned in Cedar Rapids.
