Schemmel - Van Gorder
Angela Schemmel and Michael Van Gorder, both of Marion, are planning a June wedding.
Parents of the couple are David and Kathern Schemmel and Gene and Dianne Van Gorder, all of Waterloo.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She is the director and pre- kindergarten teacher at Ascension Lutheran Pre- School in Marion.
The groom-elect is also a graduate of UNI and will be working on his Master's at the University of Iowa. He is an Independent Living Specialist Supervisor at Access 2 Independence of Iowa City.
The ceremony will take place at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Waterloo.
