Rebecca Pettit and Brian Peloza announce their engagement. The couple met in April 2013 and after countless hilarious jokes,

several moderately priced meals, and many tasty trips for ice cream, Brian convinced

Rebecca to marry him. Her parents are Craig and Sue Pettit, of Cedar Rapids. They have

enjoyed showing their future son-in-law the highlights of the area, including the favorite

restaurant of Rebecca's siblings Jessica and Robert: the Flying Wienie. His parents are

Michael and Roxanne Peloza, of Noblesville, IN. They're looking forward to performing their smooth dance moves at a May wedding

reception planned in Cedar Rapids. She's a proud graduate of Xavier High School and Creighton University. He graduated from

Purdue University. His sister, Stacie, is really smart and helped him through some of those classes. Thankfully. Brian and Rebecca both live in Indianapolis. She saves kids at Riley Children's hospital as a pulmonary clinical pharmacist. He thinks that's pretty impressive. He works as a freelance writer, mainly covering sports. She appreciates having a partner that can help copy edit her research papers. He doesn't know what that medical stuff means, but knows where to put a comma. They plan to live happily ever after. As long as he doesn't turn the television station during Bones, and she lets him watch Purdue football games.
