Parham - Nimmer

Mark Joseph Nimmer and Amanda Carol Parham, together with their parents, wish to announce their engagement.

Mark is the son of Allan and Vickie Nimmer of Marion. Amanda is the

daughter of Chip and Connie Parham of Walnut Creek, CA.

Mark, a 1992 Linn-Mar graduate, has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State

University and a Master's of Optical

Engineering from the University of Arizona, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Astronautical Engineering from the

University of Southern California. Mark is employed by Northrup-Grumman

AeroSpace Systems, Redondo Beach, CA.

Amanda is a graduate of San Diego State University with a BA in Communications/ Film and holds a Master's of Fine Arts from UCLA. Amanda is an award-winning screen and television writer currently with the production/management company Anonymous Content.

A September 5, 2014 wedding is planned at La Venta Inn, Palos Verdes Estates, CA.

The couple resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and are planning a honeymoon cruise through the South Pacific Islands.
