Michael and Julie McBride of Simpsonville, SC, announce the engagement of their daughter Katelyn Ann McBride to Adam Robert Balling, son of Steven and Ann Balling of Glendale Heights, IL. Katelyn
graduated from Tipton High School and received a bachelor's degree in journalism and Spanish from the University of Iowa. She works at UI International
Programs in Iowa City. Adam graduated from Glenbard North High School and received a bachelor's degree in music and education from the UI. He works at Percussion Source, a division of West Music, in Coralville. A July 2014 wedding is planned at Cedar Ridge Winery in Swisher. The couple
resides in Iowa City.
