Lewis - Burkhardt Engagement

Together with their parents, Shawna Lewis and Andrew Burkhardt are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Shawna is the daughter of Terry and Wendy Lewis of Newton, and Karen Lewis of Tama. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003, and is currently enrolled in the Professional Photography program at Hawkeye Community College. Shawna is employed as an Office Assistant with The Hotel at Kirkwood.

Andrew is the son of James and Carol Burkhardt of Allison. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2000, and is currently pursuing his Masters in Systems Engineering, both from Iowa State University. Andrew is employed as a Senior Systems Engineer with Rockwell Collins.

The couple is planning an October 16, 2010, wedding at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with reception to follow at Bella Sala in Iowa City.
