Nick Kanellis and Julia Marie Hynes are delighted to announce their engagement. Nick is the son of Mike and Amy Kanellis of Iowa City, IA. Julia is the daughter of Jim and Jane Hynes of Erie, PA. Nick is a graduate of West High School in Iowa City and Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He is an actor, director and teaching artist in New York. Julia is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she received degrees in Sociology and Women's Studies with a minor in Spanish. She earned a Master's degree in Women's Studies from the Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Fordham University. She is currently an English as a Second Language teacher in Brooklyn, NY.
