Laura Guilford and Eric Schmitt of Monticello are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Laura is the daughter of Greg and Deborah Guilford, and the granddaughter of Colleen Shipton, all of Marion. Eric is the son of Gerald and Linda Schmitt of Rockford, IA. Laura is a graduate of Monticello High School and Upper Iowa University, and received a Masters of Education from UNI. Eric is a graduate of Rockford High School, NIACC, and ISU. Laura is a middle school teacher and coach, and Eric is a high school agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor, for Monticello Community Schools. A June 21 wedding is planned in Monticello.
