CEDAR RAPIDS - Jillian Maria Garin and Corey Ray Sandersfeld, both of Cedar Rapids, announce their engagement.
Jillian is the daughter of Roger and LaDonna Garin of Cedar Rapids. Corey is the son of Steve and Becky Sandersfeld of Homestead, IA.
Jillian graduated from Kirkwood Community College, and currently attends Mount Mercy College. She is employed by Mercy Medical Center as a registered nurse.
Corey graduated from Kaplan University. He is employed as a security officer at St. Luke's Hospital.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on October 24, 2009, during a 1 p.m. ceremony at St Patrick Church in Cedar Rapids, with Father Phil Thompson presiding.
