Brian and Jane Edwards of Granby, CT announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Jane Edwards, to Joel Michael Schanbacher, son of Jeffrey and Janette Schanbacher of Jefferson City, MO.
Carolyn and Joel live in the DC-Annapolis area and plan to be married there at Evangelical Church of Annapolis on February 4, 2012.
Carolyn is a 2009 graduate of Wheaton College and is employed in the Washington D.C. office of Illinois Congressman Peter J. Roskam. Joel was born in Atkins, IA and is a Staff Sergeant serving as a Commander's Executive Assistant in the United States Air Force.
