Rapids are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Julie Marie, to Tyler

David Peterson, son of Dave and Deb Peterson of El Dorado Hills, CA.

Julie is a 2006 graduate of Xavier High School. Tyler graduated in 2006 from Waukee High School in Des Moines, IA. Both received their undergraduate degrees from the University of Iowa.

Julie earned her Master of Social Work degree from UNI. She recently

accepted a position as a manager's

assistant at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.

Tyler received his Master of Health

Administration from Iowa. He is a

business analyst for Austin Regional Clinics.

The couple resides in Austin, TX. They will exchange vows on May 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hiawatha, IA.
