Mark and Gini Chase are pleased to

announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Chase, to Cameron Weir, the son of Terry Weir and Vincent Weir, both of Houston, TX.

Katie graduated from the U of I with a degree in Finance in 2010. She

received a teaching certificate from Teach for America and taught for two years in Jackson, MS. She received a Masters in Education from Delta State University in 2012. She works as a

kindergarten teacher at Kipp Legacy Preparatory School In Houston.

Cameron graduated from the U of I in 2010 with a degree in Communications. He received a law degree from the South Texas College of Law in 2013. Cameron is an attorney at Jan Woodward Fox PLC in Houston.

The couple will wed on April 19, 2014, in Galveston, TX.
