Michael A. and Cathleen M. Beke of Cedar Rapids are pleased to
announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Cathleen Beke, to Nathan Lloyd Berglund, son of
Andrew and Debra Berglund of East Moline, IL. The future bride was graduated from Loras College,
Dubuque, with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She is a preschool teacher in Bellevue, IA. Her fiance was graduated from Loras College with a degree in Sports Management. He is
employed by TruGreen. The couple met at a Cedar Rapids RoughRiders game on Dec. 14, 2007. Six years later to the day, they became
engaged at a Dubuque Fighting Saints game. Emily and Nate plan
a June 28, 2014, wedding at
St. Pius X Church, Cedar Rapids.
