Heidi Abel of Cedar Rapids and Chad Steffen of Garber announce their engagement. Heidi is the daughter of Daniel and Susan Abel of Toddville. Chad is the son of Dave and Connie Steffen of Garber.

Heidi is a graduate of Washington High School and Cornell College. She is employed as a Sales Team Leader at TitanTV. Chad graduated from Edgewood-Colesburg High School and University of Iowa. He is employed as a Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins.

Heidi and Chad will exchange wedding vows Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
