Leslie Abbott and Marc Conte-Russian were engaged to be married at The Palmer House on May 21.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Mary Jo Abbott of Iowa City, IA and is a 1999 graduate of City High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Iowa. She is currently employed as a Spanish teacher at Naperville North High School.
The groom is the son of DL and Amelia Conte-Russian of New York and is a 1999 graduate of Naperville North High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Iowa, and a 2010 graduate of L.E.C.O.M. He is currently in his second year of residency in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.
The two are planning a wedding for July 2012.
