John F. Huerter turns 100 on February 11, 2017. John's life span started at birth in Kelly, KS (1917), Farmhand/Milo, IA- HWY 64 (1933-38), Farmer/Anamosa area (1940-47), U.S. Navy (1941-47), Locker Operator/Horse Breeder (1948-2000) to present! His best accomplishment has been in creating a loving family with his late wife Neita, their two children Malinda Engelbart (Steve) and the late Tom Huerter; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. John's free time is spent telling his life stories and playing Euchre.
