Celebrate Jubilees
Three Sisters of Mercy of the Americas from Cedar Rapids celebrated their Jubilees on June 12, 2022. Sister Mary K Doughan (sitting right) celebrated 75 years as a Sister of Mercy. Sister Mary Lou Podzimek (sitting left) celebrated 70 years as a Sister of Mercy and Sister Connie Howe (standing) celebrated 50 years as a Sister of Mercy.
As Religious Sisters of Mercy, they have served in a variety of ministries in Cedar Rapids, other parts of Iowa and Montana. We are grateful for their many years of dedicated ministry, prayer and service in Community.
