Shirley Corcoran Shaffer, formerly of Winthrop, Iowa, and currently of Independence, Iowa will be 90 years old on January 12, 2025. Shirley was born and raised in Ryan, Iowa, where her mother and father operated a tavern and restaurant for decades. Shirley is the daughter of Matt ("Cooper") Corcoran and Mildred (Phillips) Corcoran. Shirley would greatly appreciate a card or letter or a personal visit from friends and acquaintances from those 90 years.
