Danny turns 80 today! Born March 19, 1937 to Mel and Maxine Wessel in Cedar Rapids. Graduated Roosevelt High School in 1955. Married next-door neighbor of 20 years, Janice Svoboda, on
October 3, 1959. Retired from Rock Island
Arsenal in May 1992 after 33 years of government service. 2016 was a banner year for Danny, as he attended a World Series game in Chicago and saw his beloved Cubbies win. There will be a family gathering and dinner with sons Jon (Suzy), Tim (Lisa) and Christopher, and their children
Molly, Jessica (Greg), Mitch, Teryn, Danica, Kiki and Matthew, and great-grandson Greg.
