Iowa State vs. West Virginia predictions
Line — Iowa State -7.5
Mike Hlas — I predict an incoherent player on West Virginia’s team will run for the U.S. Senate there 25 years from now. I’m kidding, of course. There won’t be a 25 years from now. Iowa State 17, West Virginia 14
John Steppe — I’m not really a John Denver fan. Iowa State 31, West Virginia 21
Jeff Johnson — Did you know? The fewest number of points West Virginia has scored this season in a game is 33. Iowa State 35, West Virginia 33
Rob Gray — It’s very difficult to lose five straight games the way Iowa State has. Whenever the opposition needs to make a play, it does. Whenever the Cyclones do, well, the opposite has been true. That obviously needs to finally change for youthful ISU. But will it? West Virginia 20, Iowa State 17
Beth Malicki — The new book “100 Things to Do in Cedar Rapids Before You Die” lists about 30 things I haven’t yet experienced. Unfinished lists make me anxious, so I’ll be completing it in 2023 and that’s my whole resolution. Iowa State 35, West Virginia 27
Todd Brommelkamp — It’s homecoming in Ames. Hurrah for Ames! Iowa State 27, West Virginia 21
