AMES — Iowa State’s second commitment to its men’s basketball Class of 2024 is a big one — in terms of both size and potential impact.
JT Rock, a 7-foot center from Sioux Falls, S.D., announced Wednesday on social media that he had committed to the Cyclones.
“Thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey!” Rock tweeted. “I appreciate every opportunity that I have been blessed to receive. Go Cyclones!”
Rock is a four-star recruit according to 247Sports and rated as the 60th-best prospect in the nation.
He joins Nojus Indrusaitis — a four-star shooting guard from Chicago — in ISU’s Class of 2024. Indrusaitus committed last month.
