Wrong-way collision kills 2 on Highway 30 in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two drivers were killed late Sunday when a wrong-way driver headed east in the westbound lanes of Highway 30 about 11:40 p.m.

The wrong-way driver collided with an oncoming vehicle near Edgewood Road SW.

Both drivers were killed. No names have been released.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of Highway 30 west of Edgewood Road for a time.
