Wellman man charged in Johnson County with enticing a minor

A Wellman man was arrested Thursday on charges that he sent nude photos to a person he believed was under 16 years old.
Nelson Overholt, 37, is charged with enticing a minor under 16 and telephone dissemination of obscene material to a minor.
He was arrested Thursday after showing up to a prearranged meeting location with the intent to engage in a sex act with the person he believed was a female under 16, according to criminal complaints. He had been talking with the person since November, and had sent nude pictures.
Overholt had his first appearance in court Friday and was being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $10,000 bail.
