VIDEO: Cedar Rapids police participate in lip-sync challenge against gun violence

Lip Sync videos have been all the rage across the fire and police departments in the United States this summer, with tones ranging from somber to silly, irreverent to serious.
The video produced by the Cedar Rapids police department was on the serious side of the spectrum, with cousins of gun violence victim Senquez Jackson, A'alyiah and Salena, performing a lip sync rendition of 'Guns Down' by Flau'Jae. The lyrics to this song include the chorus:
If he would have put that gun down
then he would have been here right now.
As the two performed officers walked on stage behind them holding portraits of individuals in Cedar Rapids who have died due to gun violence.
