CEDAR RAPIDS - A Springville man was arrested this week after two young girls accused him of sexually abusing them for four months.
Damian J. Hunter, 36, faces two counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said the charges stem from statements given by the girls, ages 5 and 6.
According to the criminal complaint, the girls described in detail 'how the defendant … sexually abused them on multiple occasions under similar circumstances at the same location” in Fairfax between Nov. 1, 2018, and March 13, 2019.
When interviewed by investigators, Hunter 'admitted inappropriate sexual contact with both children,” according to the complaint.
Hunter made an initial appearance in Linn County District Court on Thursday morning, where a judge set bond at $50,000.
