Shots fired between vehicles near 12th Ave. and 3rd St. SW
The Cedar Rapids Police Department has responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of 12 Ave. SW and Third St. SW at 12:14 p.m.
Reportedly subjects in two vehicles were firing at each other. Public Safety Communications Coordinator Greg Buelow confirmed that officers were able to locate and stop one of the vehicles.
The individuals are being interviewed now. And no injuries were reported.
The case remains open and under investigation.
