Serious rollover accident reported near Cedar Valley Park
An individual sustained life-threatening injuries Saturday after a single-vehicle rollover accident.
According to a media release from the Cedar Rapids police, at 12:57 p.m. police received a call about an accident with injuries in the 2300 block of Otis Road SE.
In initial reports, police say they were informed of a rollover accident with an individual 'laying on the road,” according to the release.
As officers arrived on scene they determined that it was a single-vehicle accident involving a Dodge pickup truck. Police say just one person was involved in the accident and that individual received life-threatening injuries.
No more details will be released at this time, according to the release.
