Apr. 23, 2013 1:17 pm
A Solon man was arrested after allegedly striking two teenagers with a saw blade Monday night.
Around 7 p.m., police responded to an incident at 310 S. Dubuque St. Officials said Courtney J. Michel, 23, of Solon struck a 13-year-old in the upper arm and a 15-year-old in the forearm with a saw blade "without justification." The teenagers received lacerations, but officials said the injuries were minor.
Authorities said Michel continued to torment the 15-year-old by holding the saw blade to the victim's neck.
Officials said the exact relationship between the victims and Michel is unknown.
A criminal complaint said the victims fear Michel will retaliate against them once he is released from jail. Michel was verbally advised to not have contact with the victims.
Michel faces possible charges for assault with use or display of a weapon.
