Police looking for victim in Kum & Go shooting in southwest Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS - Investigators are looking for information regarding a shooting that occurred at 8:41 p.m. March 2 at the Kum & Go at 30 Four Oaks Dr. SW.
Cedar Rapids police said a man was inside his car, which was parked next to a gas pump, when a suspect approached and fired a gun.
Police said the car sustained damage to the front passenger window, but the victim was not injured. The victim left before police officers could speak with him.
Police said they need to speak with the victim as part of their investigation, and he should contact the department at (319) 286-5457.
Citizens who can identify the victim and/or the vehicle also are encouraged to call.
