Police: Indiana man arrested in Cedar Rapids after disturbance

An Indiana man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police were called to a Cedar Rapids residence, according to a media release from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. Saturday, dispatch received a 911 call from a caller who gave the address of 1313 20th Ave. SW and hung up.
Officers arrived at the residence and heard a disturbance. Some unnamed people fled, but according to the release 'a number of individuals remained in the residence.” No one was hurt, according to the release.
Carl McArthur, 37, was arrested at the scene.
Police believe the incident was an altercation between people who know each other. The investigation will continue, according to the release.
