One injured in Wednesday shooting in Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS - One man was injured in an shooting Wednesday afternoon, according to the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
The department said it is currently investigating the shooting, which occurred near the 1440 block of Fifth Ave. SE. Police were sent to the scene just after 1:20 p.m. Wednesday. One male victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, the department said.
No other details about the incident have been released.
