One hurt in Iowa City house fire; condition unknown
One person has been taken to the hospital after a Wednesday morning house fire in Iowa City.
The fire was first reported around 8 a.m. Wednesday at 705 S. Dubuque St., near downtown.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly, but remained on scene as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, clearing debris from inside the home.
Information on the victim's condition was unavailable. Firefighters are still investigating the cause.
