A Nebraska man was arrested last week in Johnson County on a charge of enticing a minor under the age of 16.
Alejandro Gomez Torres, 32, of Elkhorn Neb., agreed to meet with someone he believed was under 16 after communicating with her about sex acts he would like to engage in together, according to a criminal complaint, which does not further describe the circumstances. He was arrested when he arrived at the location in Iowa City where he had agreed to meet the would-be child.
Gomez Torres was arrested Friday and released from jail Monday after posting a $5,000 cash-only bail.
