Marion woman accused of stealing car from apartment complex

MARION - A Marion woman is accused of stealing a vehicle from an apartment complex on Chapelridge Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Marion police were dispatched Saturday to the apartment complex at 7 Chapelridge Court after a woman reported her beige Ford Fusion had been stolen. Police said the vehicle was valued between $1,000 and $10,000.
During their investigation, police said Shannon M. Strother, 42, admitted to taking the vehicle.
Strother was arrested Sunday and faces a charge of second-degree theft, a Class D felony.
