Marion police investigating knife attack

MARION — Marion police are investigating an attack early Thursday in which a man was injured by a person armed with a knife.
The assault happened at around 4:45 a.m. at 4941 Tama St. Police found the injured man, but the suspect had fled before officers arrived.
“Law enforcement has identified all of the involved subjects and believe this to be a targeted assault with no continued threat to the community,” police said in a news release.
No additional information was released.
