Marion motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in single vehicle accident
The Marion Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident around 7:35 p.m. on July 10, 2018.
Valarie Biancalana, 61, was riding her motorcycle and crashed near the intersection of 29th Ave. and Indian Creek Circle in Marion.
According to the release, first responders arrived on the scene and discovered Biancalana had lost control of her motorcycle and had suffered significant injuries.
The release states that she was not wearing a helmet at the time and was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
