Marion man charged with sexually abusing 11-year-old

A Marion man is accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old child.
William Wesley Kelley, 45, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse.
The abuse happened June 4, according to a criminal complaint. The child told a parent, hospital staff and a forensic interviewer about the abuse, and a warrant was issued for Kelley’s arrest July 13.
Kelley, who was arrested Saturday, had his initial appearance in court Monday. He is being held in the Linn County Jail on a $20,000 cash-only bond.
