Man stabbed at apartment in southwest Cedar Rapids, police say

CEDAR RAPIDS - A man was stabbed in the chest early Monday at an apartment in Cedar Rapids, police said.
Officers responded at 6:45 a.m. to an apartment complex at 433 Fourth Ave. SW. They found a 50-year-old man who had suffered a stab wound to the chest, according to the police department.
Police said the wound appeared to be non-life-threatening. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the stabbing was targeted, according to the police department. Police are continuing to investigate.
