Man charged after Sunday night shots fired incident
Marion Police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 9th Street at around 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, after receiving several reports of shots fired in the area.
According to a news release, when officers arrived they located people outside of 1000 9th St.
After an initial investigation a suspect, William Williams, 41, was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault While Displaying a Weapon and Reckless Use of A Firearm.
According to the release, it was determined Williams fired two rounds into the air during an incident at 1000 9th Street. No one was injured during the incident.
