Man accused of assault on Mercy security guard
A Cedar Rapids man is charged with assault causing injury based on allegations he assaulted a security guard at Mercy Medical Center Tuesday.
Joshua I. Lawson, 34, was arrested around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday after he caused a disturbance inside the hospital at 701 10th St. SE, according to court records.
Lawson is accused of assaulting a security guard, injuring him.
He also faces disorderly conduct charges.
