LIVE TWEETS: Mariana Lesnic found guilty

A jury has returned with a guilty verdict for Mariana Lesnic, who was charged with killing Earnest Kummer Sept. 6, 2017. Gazette reporter Trish Mehaffey is live-tweeted the trial from the courtroom and will have a story on the trial later today.
Kummer, 60, a Monroe truck driver, was found dead in his sleep cab with a gunshot wound to his head. Lesnic admitted to shooting him and is representing herself during the trial. Her standby counsel is Trevor Anderson, a Des Moines public defender.
