The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a disturbance that left one person with serious but not life-threatening injuries early Wednesday morning in Center Point.
Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance call at 1320 Franklin St. in Center Point at 12:52 a.m., where they found Trent Pray, 36, of Center Point, who had been injured with a knife, according to a press release from the department.
Riley Scott Young, 30, of Center Point, was identified as leaving the scene and hasn’t been located, according to the release.
The Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone who knows where Young is to contact the office at 319-398-3911.
“If you have contact with Young, please do not approach him, call your local authorities. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office believes this to be a targeted attack, and the public is not considered in danger,” the release states.
