Linn County Sheriff's Office investigating shots fired on residential street in Ely

The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shots-fired incident that happened on a residential street in Ely Monday night.
According to a news release from the sheriff's office, homeowners in the area of the 1700 block of East Pacific Street captured video from security cameras, which showed a light colored SUV and a dark colored sedan stopping in the roadway at about 10:30 p.m. Gunshots could be heard on video and then both vehicles sped away.
No injuries were reported, the release stated.
