Iowa City teen charged with sexually abusing 12-year-old

A 17-year-old from Iowa City was arrested Friday on a charge that he sexually abused a 12-year-old in March.
Luis Anguel Borjas Flores is charged as an adult with one count of second-degree sexual abuse. According to a criminal complaint, the child reported that Borjas Flores took the child to a residence in Iowa City where they engaged in a sex act.
A warrant was issued June 7 for Borjas Flores’ arrest and he was taken into custody a week later. He was being held on $25,000 bail and a no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the victim.
