Iowa City police searching for shooting suspects
Iowa City police are looking for two suspects involved in a shooting incident early Tuesday.
According to a news release, police responded to a home in the 2000 block of Wayne Avenue about 2:30 a.m. after a caller reported her husband had been shot.
The man, who was transported to a hospital and treated for injuries that were not life threatening, reported seeing two suspects.
Few details were provided about the suspects in the news release, but police said they fled the scene in a truck described as having an attached trailer dragging on the roadway.
