Iowa City police investigating Monday night shots fired

IOWA CITY — The Iowa City Police Department is investigating a possible shots fired incident from Monday night.

Police received multiple reports of shots fired just before midnight in the area of 2400 Lakeside Dr., according to a news release.

No injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information about the shots fired that leads to an arrest. Tips can be shared with the police department at (319) 356-5275, or anonymously with CrimeStoppers via their website, app or at (319) 358-8477.

Anyone in the area with security cameras also is asked to review their recordings for any potential footage of the shots fired.
