According to criminal complaints, Sapo sexually abused a child three times between 2021 and 2023. The child was between 12 and 14. One of the assaults happened at Sapo’s house and the other two happened in his car, the court records states.

Sapo also assaulted a 15-year-old non-sexually when he was drunk in 2023. He grabbed the teen by the neck, according to a complaint.
Sapo is a being held in the Johnson County Jail on bail totaling $160,000 for this weeks’ charges. Before these charges were filed, he already was being held in the jail on pending charges of sexual abuse, incest, domestic abuse, harassment and child endangerment, with bail totaling $165,000.
