Iowa City man charged with sexual abuse of a minor

An Iowa City man was arrested this week on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse.
According to a criminal complaint, Martin Menjivar, 58, picked up a juvenile at a predetermined location in Iowa City on Monday. He put the juvenile in the back seat of his car, where he took pictures of the juvenile in the nude and then touched the juvenile inappropriately.
He was arrested on Tuesday and had a first appearance in court on Wednesday. He is being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $25,000 bond. A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the juvenile.
