Identities of two men killed in Cedar Rapids shooting released

The Cedar Rapids Police Department has identified the two men who were killed in a shooting last week as Myron Snyder and Maurice Brown, both 21, of Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids police officers responded at 8:21 p.m. Thursday to the area of 3940 Sherman St. NE for reports of gunshots. They found three men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of 3960 Sherman St. NE.
Snyder and Brown died from their injuries and a third man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The name of the third man has not been released.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, but police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
