Gunshot fired from one vehicle at another on I-380 in southwest Cedar Rapids, police say

CEDAR RAPIDS - A motorist reported being shot at Thursday morning while driving south on Interstate 380.
The motorist told investigators he was driving near Wilson Avenue SW when a black sport utility vehicle with Colorado license plates pulled up next to him and fired a single shot, according to the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
Police said the bullet struck and entered the man's pickup, a 2019 Ford F-350. The driver was unharmed, according to a news release.
The sport utility vehicle was last seen traveling west on Highway 30 west of Edgewood Road SW.
Preliminary information indicates the incident likely was a targeted shooting., police said. The investigation is ongoing.
